It has been such a long time since I last posted a blog that I wondered if you still remember me! So much has happened since then. I’ve been in talks with a high street designer who was very interested in a collaboration. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be as we couldn’t set a price that benefitted everybody. I’m committed to paying the artists the best possible price for their work, and even though the designer was also committed to the same ethos, the harsh realities of retail in the UK put a temporary halt on the project. The good news is that they are developing some high street stores in the near future. With good planning, Little Hungarian Hearts products may yet be showcased in this beautiful designers lovely shops. Watch this space!
We had a wonderful time at the Country Living Magazine Spring Fair at Alexandra Palace in April. So many of you came to visit our stand which made the fair even more enjoyable for us. We had such a good time that we signed up to showcase at the Country Living Magazine Christmas Fair from 7-11 November at the BDC in Islington, London. A great opportunity to stock up on Christmas presents and stocking stuffers. Watch my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages for upcoming giveaways of tickets to the Fair.
I was delighted to finally meet Sara, who runs the Kalotaszeg Durabil Foundationin Kalotaszentkiraly/Sancraui county, Romania along with her partner, Duncan. Sara’s lovely mother came along for the day out too.
Sara & Duncan’s foundation enables local women to sew some amazing products for Little Hungarian Hearts and others. Without her, these women’s work would be so much harder to view outside Romania and Hungary. Help support Sara’s Foundation by liking her Facebook page.
